BIO: Francine Ealey Murphy   PDF  Print  E-mail
Born on May 6, 1969 in Miami, Florida to Elder Herschel and Dr.Beatrice Ealey. She is the youngest of ten (five girls and five boys). Francine began singing when she was three years old. Her first solo entitled "I HAVE A FATHER WHO CAN' rang out loud throughout the crowded church on 58th street as she tiptoed on milk crates with the choir standing in the background.
Everyone took notice of the little girl with the booming voice. Francine became a member of Spirit of Life Ensemble where she traveled across the state of Florida singing the praises of the Lord. Francine graduated from American Senior High School and attended Bethune Cookman College under the direction of Rebecca Steele. She also was blessed to be under the two other great directors, the late Mr. Roscoe Speed and Mr. Avery Jones. Francine became a member of The Heavenly Angels where she began to write songs and produce them. Her first recording was in 1990 titled "NEW HEIGHTS". Francine then became interested in producing her church choir. She is currently the Minister of Music at El. Bethel Tabernacle Community Outreach Ministries under Dr. Beatrice Ealey. The first recording was a single in 1994 titled "I CAN NOT TELL IT ALL". In 1997 she had a live recording titled "FOR GREATER GLORY". It became the inspirational song of the day on WEDR. Francine has appeared with some of the biggest names in gospel music, such as: Shirley Caesar, John P. Kee, James Moore, and Vikki Winans just to name a few. She has also performed at the Bob Marley Festival with Cedalla Marley Booker. Francine was also privileged to perform for the Rev. Jessie Jackson. Francine was selected to tour with Michael Matthews gospel stage play "LOVE THE ONE YOU'RE WITH". Francine’s new CD is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2003 entitled "I REPENT".
