BIO: Fred Hammond - Somethin Bout Love   PDF  Print  E-mail
Page 2 of 2
The project is epic, in the true nature of the word.  “Somethin’ ‘Bout Love,” surpasses the usual fare and is genuinely impressive.  It is 19-tracks of emotion and substance that ushers the listener into worship and praise like no other.  Favorites include the song of healing, “I Will Find A Way,” a sweeping ballad filled with empathy to people who’ve been hurt and a desire to worship through the storm and the beautiful worship of the final track “Your Name Is Jesus.” The song was penned with F.Hammond Music label songstress Joann Rosario and Noel Hall.

Hammond, a 24-year veteran of the music industry, is a true Gospel mainstay. The award-winning singer has garnered tremendous media attention and sales success, and is considered one of the founders of today’s contemporary Gospel music.  He’s been featured in national publications such as VIBE, USA Today, Sister 2 Sister Magazine and Jet.  Most recently he has appeared on the popular video show “106 & Park,” he stole the show at BET’s 4th Annual Celebration of Gospel TV special and appeared on the anticipated Apollo 70th Anniversary TV special on NBC.

“SOMETHIN’ ‘BOUT LOVE” in stores everywhere June 8, 2004.
