Delving into new territory for him, TONEX plans to offer his first ever LIVE recorded CD and DVD in 2004.  The upcoming project, “OUT THE BOX” was recorded in his hometown of San Diego, CA and featured guest appearances by Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin and a blazing performance with Sheila E. For the first time ever, fans will be able to fully experience TONEX in a live setting.

Bound to be an instant hit, TONEX was backed by a 10-piece band, 4 dancers, a 16-voice ensemble, and a 40-voice choir.  “OUT THE BOX” is electrifying, explosive, and uplifting. It displays the artistic illustration of TONEX’s musical ability and the extraordinary range and true caliber of his vocal repertoire. The listener will travel through a journey of TONEX’s life experiences all while being submerged in the presence of God. The various musical flavors that make up TONEX’s signature style, hip-hop, rock , worship, contemporary Gospel are all evident on “OUT THE BOX” and his effortless ability to move within and between different musical spectrums show case both TONEX’s musical prowess and creative finesse.

The first single off the new album, “Make Me Over” is a beautiful and haunting worship ballad. TONEX’s earnest plea for restoration is palpable on this fluid and honest song.

TONEX will engage the hearts and souls of listeners as he breaks free; coming ‘out the box’ yet sustaining his innovative and progressive style. “OUT THE BOX” ushers in the presence and prophetic elements of the Lord as it showcases “the man, the talent, the music, and the ministry.”

In support of this new album, TONEX can be seen headlining the 20 city nation-wide EVOLUTION II tour.  In the summer of 2004, the “Out the Box” World Tour will start in Japan.
