Gospel music lovers can appreciate the series of Friday Night Gospel Concerts that are being held this Spring at Brooklyn's largest church, The Christian Cultural Center, located at 12020 Flatlands Avenue, between Pennsylvania & Louisiana Avenues. All concerts are being held at CCC's
newly-opened Koinonia Restaurant, with showtimes at 7 P.M. & 9 P.M.
On Friday, May 6, 2005, the guest psalmist will be Lady Peachena, who
will sing songs from her new inspirational CD, "The Bishop's Daughter,"
as well as some of her favorite hymns. Admission is free, with the purchase of a dinner.
This Grammy-nominated songwriter penned the smash hit, "Dancin' In
The Spirit," that was recorded by Ron Winans' Family & Friends Choir
more than a decade ago. Lady Peachena also sings with her pastor's choir,
- that's the two-time Grammy Award winners, Pastor Hezekiah Walker &
The Love Fellowship Choir. Currently, Lady P. is preparing to produce a
children's inspirational TV show for a major network.
